Insurance
Setting aside money for your old age will not always be enough. Life might take an unexpected turn causing you to need the insurance package that is a natural part of your pension scheme. This provides security.
You may become seriously ill or have an accident. If you lose your ability to work entirely or partially, your reduced earning capacity cover will provide you with monthly benefits for as long as your ability to work is reduced - however, ceasing when you retire.
You will not have to contribute to your pension scheme during your illness. If your scheme includes a waiver of premium, we will continue the contributions for you.
This means that your savings and insurances in Velliv will continue automatically.
The size of your disability pension is automatically adjusted if your salary increases. This ensures that you always have the right coverage if life finds an unexpected turn.Automatic adjustment
You might become seriously ill without having to give up your job, for example. However, that does not make the situation less serious for you and your family. If you are diagnosed with an illness included on our list of certain critical illness, you will receive a tax-free disbursement for you and your family to use as you see fit.
You can receive a tax-free disbursement if you fall ill from one of the illnesses mentioned in the insurance terms.

As a family, your financial situation is vulnerable if you die before reaching retirement. With a life insurance you will have a financial safety net.
You select to whom the disbursement will be made. You may designate your spouse/cohabiting partner as your beneficiary.
Who will receive the disbursement?
Remember to adjust your nomination of beneficiary according to your current life situation. When we draw up your pension scheme, your 'next of kin' will automatically be registered as your beneficiary.
If you would like to nominate another beneficiary, please let us know. You should pay special attention to your nomination of beneficiary when you become a parent, get married or get a divorce.
If you have children, you can secure them with an annual sum to be disbursed monthly. The insurance may cover your children and adopted children as well as your spouse's and registered partner's children. Children given up for adoption and a cohabiting partner’s children will not be entitled to children's pension.
In your pension overview, you can see for how long your children will be covered.
